At least you had a decent list to draw from. I think I may have topped out at 5 titles. Bad Cindy. I have yet to read a book this year.

Cindy: You definitely need to read more :) But then you've been sick so that makes it difficult. I read more in winter than summer because there is so much to do but maybe you're the opposite. I'm sure your reading will pick up. One day you'll just get in the right mood.

I love looking at other peoples' lists and seeing what, if anything, we have in common. And then, if we do, seeing what we don't have in common. As somebody who has spent six weeks tallying votes, I'm really intrigued by readers who, like me, read a wide variety. In your case, you've read more SF/F and Paranormal, and some erotic romance I've not tried. What can you say about Megan Hart?

LLB: Megan Hart is an unusual author in that her books are not exactly romances (in the strict sense that some people may have), but they have uplifting and happy endings. Broken is a good example of this. The heroine's husband is a quadriplegic and has emotionally withdrawn from their marriage. She is very hurt because she deeply loves her husband. Every month she meets a man on a park bench and he tells her erotic stories of his sexual encounters. Hart's stories are rather morally ambiguous and some people may object to calling them romances but I'm very flexible and thought they were filled with more 'real' romance and the endings left no doubt in my mind of the HEA.

I like to read a wide variety because I tend to get bored in one genre. I'm really look forward to compiling my stats and see where my reading has taken me over the year. This year I didn't read any medieval but that's because most of my medieval reading came from my huge TBR. Can't wait for you all to finish the results of the poll.
