I'm bored with my blog. Actually, it's probably best described as writer's (blogger's) block. I've been reading lots and have started some reviews but then the writer's block sets in.
I came across Kailana's blog via Marg's blog talking about The Huntress by Susan Carroll, the next book in the Faire Isle Trilogy. I guess it's not a trilogy after all - this was news to me... very welcome news. I loved that "trilogy". So anyway, I started looking for other upcoming books which led me to some book covers so here they are.
Notice the cover for Ice Storm by Anne Stuart coming out in November 2007. I'd "squeee", if I knew how!!
Reading now:
Promises Linger by Sarah McCarty, and LOVING it. It's a western (yes!), burning HOT (yes!), and well written (yes!). Excellent.
An avid reader of all types of romance - historical, paranormal, contemporary, romantic suspense - with some mystery and science fiction thrown in.

Sooo nice covers LOL :D this really cheered me up :D I'm anxiously awaiting Demon Moon, High Noon and although I won't be reading it, the cover for Ice Storm is really pretty :D
Nath: I don't know how many of these books I will actually get around to reading (Ice Storm for sure) but it was fun looking at covers.
I see several books here I too am anticipating. Sarah McCarty...so good!
I'm kind of leery of Liz Carlyle. After loving her from the very beginning, I just couldn't love her last trilogy - in fact the last one was a DNF. I hate when that happens!! I am looking forward to the new Gerrard book though.
And I hope it's just a momentary boredom. We seem to have lost way to many bloggers already! :-(
Rosie: My first book by Sarah McCarty.... Yum! Very good.
Kristie: It's hard not to quit altogether when I get into one of these moods. But I'll stick with it. I hate when bloggers quit or go on hiatus for a long period of time (I still miss Maili but I fear she's gone for good). I haven't read anything by Liz C since One Little Sin which was sort of blah. I keep thinking I should give her another try.
Ooooooh, another Susan Carroll book. I've yet to read past the first one but I'm glad to see that there's more. Plus I love the Tudors.
Hey, I'm reading Promises Linger too. I've been wanting to try her books but wasn't thrilled with the price for a new to me author, found it at the UBS for $4, which was much better than the $16 cover price.
We'll compare notes :D
Ah, my twin. Funny but I was thinking of posting a 'gone fishing' note on my blog too. Hang in, it'll come back and it doesn't have to be all about the books.
On that note, I'll squee for both of us on the Anne Stuart book (I'm sad it won't be out until Nov. though)
From comments I think the McCarty is an actual book and not an e-book. If that is the case I'm ON IT!!!
CindyS
There are several there that I am looking forward to! In particular the Carroll (surprise!), the Carlyle and the Hoyt!
So excited about:
1. Ice Storm
2. Tangled Up In You
3. Into The Dark
4. High Noon
Thanks for letting me know about them!
Jay: It's a great series and Carroll writes about the Tudor period extremely well.
Tara: I got PL from PBS after being on the waiting list for a while. $4 is a great price though. Yes, lets compare. I bet you're done already. I'm about 3/4 done.
Cindy: Thanks for the support :) I knew you'd understand. Yeah, November is too far away. PL is a trade size PB (it was originally an ebook) and I'm pretty sure you will like it. Very HOT. and the story is a good one although the heroine is a tad irritating at times but the sex makes up for it :)
Marg: Oh, good, I'm glad to help out my fellow readers :)
Alie: You're welcome too. I'm definitely reading those 4 too. Some of the others are a maybe.
I'm really looking forward to Tangled Up In You...thanks for the heads up!
