New template

OK, I'm trying out a new template so bear with me. I lost all my "widgets" and have to re-store them from my old saved template. Blogger doesn't make that easy. Coding is involved but I probably can just do a cut and paste.

I've been looking for a free template with three columns and I came across this one. Plus it has tabs at the top but I need to figure out how to edit them. *sigh* more work. I really like my rose template but I was getting tired of it.

I'm on a tropical kick lately since I got back from the Caribbean. And looking at tropical pictures cheers me up. My wallpaper on my home and work computers all have tropical scenes. I need cheering up with the weather we have had.... record amounts of rain and record amounts of snow in the mountains. There are three mountain passes in our state to travel east and west across the Cascade Mountains, but they have had numerous closures due to avalanches and they are just running out of places to put the snow when they clear it off the highway. It's bizarre.

Blech! to your crummy weather. I'm scared because we are having fantastic weather. I'm afraid we are being lulled into a false sense of security and belief we can put winter clothes away and then wham-o! The wind will be howling and the rain will be pouring.

Rosie: Yeah, I feel the same way. Just when we have one or two nice days, then wham! we get hit again.

Kristie: I thought so too, and I'm ready for another cruise. Now I need to fix the rest of it so my blog will look right.

Nath: You and me both.

I love the banner! Really pretty. And you could send some of that rain down here to the southeast! We're parched. ;)

Jennie: I wish I could send it, believe me. I'm sure lots of other parts of the country need it more than we do.

Cindy: I'm sorta glad we aren't getting snow down here in the lowlands. Oh, you have a pool to look forward to. Lucky.
