Trying out new blogger templates.
Update: This was a free template I found somewhere. Still fiddling with it. I lost the nav bar at the top somehow and can't figure out how to get it back. I'm using the new blogger template widget and the navbar shows up there. But not on my blog page. Anyone know how to fix that? It will probably involve changing the template code. I love using the widget for previewing fonts, colors and layout but it probably isn't compatible with this template. Let me know if I need to tweek colors or fonts to make it more readable.

I like this one - it's got a nice, clean look. And the white background really makes the book covers POP!
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I prefer the white too but I'm experimenting with the edge background color - can't decide between pink or green. I think green is winning. Still working on font colors and layout. I welcome all feedback from youse guys.
I like it as well. Only problem I see: I can barely read the comments because the grey font is too light.
And I love the shade of green you have on the background right now.
Rosario: I thought that grey was rather light. I'll change it. Thanks! Wow, it sure looks different in IE versus Firefox.
That rose looks good. I feel like it's going to poke me in the eye. LOL
I like this look.
Ames: Yeah, the rose looks 3-D, doesn't it. I'm going for the clean simple look. Marg has a rose on her blog but it's slightly different.
I love, love, love the green. Very fresh and I always prefer light coloured backgrounds when text is involved. (I can't read Dance Chica's blog if it's a long post because my eyes start to cross).
Now I have to go and find out what a blogger widget is.
Cindy: Green is one of my favorite colors and I love this shade too. I think I have a wall painted this color :) I prefer light too, the dark takes more work to read. I found a good link that explains blogger widgets so I'll post it later.
Very nice! It's clean and easy to read and I love the rose. I'm just looking at it in Firefox - I'll have to check IE to see the difference
OK - I just compared. Much better in Firefox!
Kristie: Yeah, it looks much better in Firefox. Now I have to fix up the sidebar *le sigh* lots of work :)
This template is great! I wish I could help you but I don't even know what a widget is!
I'm no help with this stuff, but I do like the template and it's very easy to read and loads quickly. All pluses for me.
Nikki: Thanks, I appreciate the offer ;) I posted a widget explanation (sort of).
Rosie: That's good feedback. I especially like fast loading sites.
