New favorite song

Yeah, I know I promised a post about books (and I working on it - seriously) but this song keeps running through my head thanks to my aerobics class. I may have mentioned this before but anyway I'm a crazy Jazzercise fanatic. I love it. I go three or four days a week. I love the dance the best but it's a terrific all around aerobic exercise program that incorporates stretching and strength training with the dance. When I was a little girl I was a little ballerina (a chubby ballerina). Then in high school (a bit more slimmed down) I really loved gymnastics and modern dance in PE class. Anyway, Jazzercise got me back into dancing since I could never get Bob to dance EVER after we got married. And I get great exercise.

The Jazzercise routine set to That's Not My Name by The Ting Tings is my current favorite and I can't get the tune out of my head.

Here I am at Jazzercise class. Can you spot me?

I'm in the back row near the middle. Chin length blond hair wearing a white shirt.

You weren't kidding about that song getting into your head. BTW, love the before and after photos. The living room looks wonderful.

I used to do an aerobics class -- now I pretty much stick to treadmill, elliptical and our new track, which just opened. I stave off boredom by ... listning to books! I've been doing it for probably 6 or 7 years now (the books, I mean), and have not only gotten a lot more books read, I've read series I probably wouldn't have, because the librarian recomended them. (That's how I listened to all the "Cat Who" books by Lilian Jackson Braun."

I'm currently making my way through all the Rev. Clare Fergusson books by Julia SPencer-Fleming (or it might be Fleming-Spencer, I can never remember which it is). I love, love love them! Romance and mystery. That's what I'm listening to (and having a hard time not "cheating" and checking the books out to get more in. Not allowed, though.) As for what's on the nightstand, well, check out this this wonderful romance, "The Silent Note." In a nutshell, it's about a secret romance -- concealed for decades inside an old piano. A great love story...

And you'll write again; I know you will. Chin up. These are hard, scary times.

Wow, I haven't touched my blog in over 6 years and I'm still logged in!  Good thing because I have no idea what my password is.  In ...
